Adiventure (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates adiventure.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and profile photo, provided via our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign up.
  • Trip information: destinations, travel dates, number of travellers, itineraries, and budgets you create using our planner.
  • Group/expense information: trip member names, expenses, amounts, and UPI IDs you choose to add for settlement purposes.
  • Usage data: pages visited and general usage patterns via analytics tools, to help us improve the product.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the core features of Adiventure (planning, budgeting, group trips, expense splitting).
  • To enable group trip features, such as adding you to a trip when you join via an invite link.
  • To generate AI-powered itineraries and budget estimates using Google’s Gemini API.
  • To improve our product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate Adiventure, including for:

  • Authentication and account management
  • Database and data storage
  • AI-powered itinerary and budget generation
  • Hosting, performance, and analytics
  • Payment processing (for paid trip features)
  • Destination imagery

These providers may process certain data on our behalf solely to provide these services, and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

UPI IDs and Payments

UPI IDs you add to your profile are used solely to generate payment links for settling expenses with other trip members. We do not process or store payment transactions — UPI payments happen directly between users via their own UPI apps.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information such as your name becomes visible to other members of a trip you join or create, as this is necessary for the group trip and expense-splitting features to function.

Data Retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@adiventure.app.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@adiventure.app.

Children’s Privacy

Adiventure is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Adiventure after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
